The Certificate in Community Health (CCH) program, developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, is designed to enhance the capabilities of registered nurses, RNRM, and Ayurveda practitioners. This collaboration ensures that the program aligns with the evolving healthcare landscape and addresses the pressing needs of community health services at the grassroots level. Through a multidisciplinary approach involving experts from nursing, medicine, social sciences, and education, the CCH program equips healthcare professionals with the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to serve as competent human resources in strengthening primary healthcare services.
Objectives: The primary objectives of the CCH program are as follows:
Eligibility and Duration: The CCH program is open to individuals who have completed their 10th grade. The duration of the program is one year, during which participants undergo rigorous training to acquire the necessary competencies in community health.
